Pastors Leaf and Joanie know firsthand the power of God’s love to forgive, redeem, and transform. Both encountered the reality of God’s love through Jesus Christ and received Him as Savior as young adults. It was God’s touch which brought them out of a history of darkness and led them to lead others into His light.
Before answering the call to pastor in the Conejo Valley, Leaf and Joanie served on staff at The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California for a total of 17 and 10 years respectfully. Leaf and Joanie were installed as the senior pastors at Northbound Community Church in August 2007. In June 2008 they were appointed senior pastors at Restoration Church (formerly Shepherd's House), merging Northbound into that existing congregation.
Leaf and Joanie have four amazing kids and have been blessed to call Thousand Oaks home since 2008.
