New Faith Do
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”- 2 Corinthians 5:17
The very reason Jesus came to the world, died on the cross, and rose from the grave was to bring us NEWNESS. As we come out from our Easter Celebration the Holy Spirit wants us to be positioned in the new!
Every few years a flyer is left in the mailbox offering to have the street address on the curb repainted with a fresh coat. The new paint covers over all effects that have caused a wearing off and tarnishing of the numbers. The new is applied to offer higher visibility and quality.
The Post Easter, spring season is the perfect time to allow your faith to be renewed and reenergized. If you have experienced a rough last few months, if your heart has been hardened or your faith is cold, if life has beat you down and won you out, receive the new life and victory that Jesus delivers and that Easter is all about! Ephesians 4:23-24 calls us to, “Be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
God is ready to have you walk in newer and greater levels of focus, devotion, joy, and boldness in your faith! Here are some ways to enter into and embrace the new God has for you:
- Our church family is experiencing the new by moving our in-person gatherings to Saturday at 5 pm beginning April 30th. Come check out a Saturday service and be a part of this next chapter!
- Make a personal decision to grow in your faith. Take time each day to read the Bible and Pray. You can also join our special Discipleship class, Transform School, on the life of Jesus beginning Wednesday, April 27th at 7 pm.
- Our faith must exhibit a life of good deeds. People need Jesus. Be available to share your faith, pray with others, and invite people to church.
New life is here, new chapters are everywhere, and the new you looks way better!
